Taking notice, noting folks,
noting their presentation
and reactions leaves one with
little doubt that folks come in
many flavors, colors and sizes.

Some are jovial, happy and playful
Others are sad, hurting and resentful
Then there are those who are spiteful,
they are vindictive and trouble makers.

As for me, I feel at peace with being,
I feel at peace with my life.

Give me freedom,
freedom to be my very best,
freedom to be whomever I choose.
Freedom to wander the world over.

Only to realize, there is no place
No place like home,
where the heart resides.
