I would like to know why so many guys in the age group of 40-50 have to have facial hair and wear hats. Please, if you want someone like me to take a second look, shave that stuff and take off your hat!!

I don't mind hats and I happen to like facial hair. I'm a tactile person. Running my hand along a fuzzy jaw line is enjoyable
To the OP, if it's not your style, it's not your style. But you miss out on a lot if all you focus on is the outside. |

 Oh darn! I'm only 35 and usually prefer to have the scruff or beard out, or goatee. Course it's because I try to hide a lot of my facial scaring.
