Cool? As in deserves respect? Praise? A guy or gal is respected in my eye, who can walk in anywhere unescorted, be comfortable with who they are, and leave the same way, with or without a 'prize/trophy'.

i came out with this when i was one of those teenager movies. it seems like a stupid concept to me. like the concept that somebody who is virgin has to have sex the prom night.

Miguel... I never went to my prom, I graduated early from high school in Jan. and went straight to college in Feb. Alot of good it did me, I never graduated college....

Graduation ceremony...a whole lot of whoo haaa and another great way to pontificate wealth and class distinctions.. Oh excuse me, I think my indignation was showing, I'll tuck it back in..

Perhaps ceremony would be seen as the wrong word...ritual may be a better word for a big party, that has lost it's true meaning.
