1) Why are my messages timed on'Pacific time'?

2) Why do I not have an 'instant message' button anywhere on my home page?

Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

PST (Pacific Standard Time) is used here because San Francisco
is where headquarters is located on the West Coast.
(I try not to say it is because we are the center of the universe.)

You use Instant Message by going to the profile page
of the person with whom you wish to chat.

If you do not have 'Instant Message' showing on your home
page there are possibly 2 reasons why:
1) You are in 'Stealth.'
2) You do not have IM turned ON.

The following shows you how to change the above:

HOW DO I IM?
First, you must have YOUR 'Instant Messaging'
turned ON:
http://mingle2.com/user/enable_im
(Or >>My Account>>Settings>>Turn ON IM)

Then you would go to the profile of the person
with whom you wish to chat.

Under their picture there is an orange button
'Instant Message' which you would click on and
the request to Instant Message is sent.

If there is no orange button labeled 'Instant
Message' it could mean one of two things.

The person does NOT have 'Instant Messaging'
turned ON.
(In which case you could email them and request
they turn it ON.)

Or, the person is in 'Stealth Mode.'

NOTE: The mobile site has NO Instant Messenger.

Hey Soufie
What ever happened to GMT.
You know you can go to Greenwich in London and you can straddle the line that seperates East and West longitudes.
So basically you are in the East and the West at the same time.
So anyway, back to GMT, can you please ask Mingle to sort this out, you know us Brits like to be at the centre of everything:wink:

That is pretty cool :-) (The straddling.)
When the Queen starts her own social media site, backed by
the Crown jewels (Blingle?) she can pick the time :-)
