Hi everybody,
Recently single and just finished with the military. In Kansas city at the moment but from Tampa, Florida. trying to make friends here but keep running into profiles that ask for my email account and then want to direct me to websites which ask for credit card numbers...lol.....oh well. I will hang in there for a little while longer. |

hang in on site, i have had 5 or 6 contact me only to find they demand money cos they have sick parent /child they say they have no money etc, they are based in ivory coast normally, when they demand money like that, pose the question how would you like money paid to you, normally they say western union, that means they can give any name to cllect it as its a code number they recieve to collect, and after that its untraceable who you have sent money too , i block all like that and report the abuse, it is modern day pirates, take care and good luck

Just becarful most of the scam is coming from Africa..I had someone pretending he was an US army and asked to help him transfer a money but his poor language was a red flag for me

I have mentioned before that my blocked area has 3 pages full of people like the ones u encountered. Please remember there are many great people here in mingle2 and continue being selective with who u choose to interact. If u find someone who u object to, there's always block. On the upper right corner of the CHAT box and, if they send email, the option of block is there too. Also, report them to the site. hey am barbara me too alot of guy using military pictures but they are nigeria. Makes me Mad I block and Report the ones I found but still sucks they are doing it
