Trying very hard, but it is hard so it's going to be a long road of trying for me

Yep, a long road, but so worth it in the end. At the end you get health benefits and when you think about the cost....a few (or lots) of money saved. Keep up the hard work. Side note: I'm not a smoker, but have seen family members try to quit often over the years and how hard they struggled.

Ohh.. I thought you were going to try to deactivate.. are as I refer to it. making it over the wall.. .. . yes quit those nasty things. start eating carrots and granola. working out at the gym. . drinking more water living a healthy lifestyle.. . shoot I need a cigarette..jk.. . you can do it. . it's easy.. just stop doing it.. you know easy. I tell you what every time you want a cigarette.. you private message me for.. sex talk.. .. you will quit in no time..

Keep It Simple Silly... I have admiration for those that take charge of their health... Especially if it is someone I love or care about. How are you doing 4eva??

Eva & Lars We are all cheering for the both of you! One day at a time but sometimes it's one hour at a time. At work I started a habit of holding a pen in my hand just to have something to hold. My daughter quit at the same time as I and she would hold a cinnamon stick! One guy at work - a heavy smoker - is using the fake cigarette inhalers and he is doing quite well with it. We were all very surprised as he always seemed to be on "smoke break"! Don't beat yourself up - be kind to yourself because this is a huge step in taking control of your own life as opposed to the cigarette dictating your actions. Like I said before, I smoked for 39 years! It sounds so odd in the past tense but it is what it is! We are all so proud of the both of you! Hang in there! (((Eva))) (((Lars)))

I'm doing ok.... I went to the Dr today and he told me I have a 50% chance I have prostate cancer. I go Tuesday for the biopsy... I'm ok with it my faith is intact..thank you all for the help..

Good luck kicking the habit. I found lollipops do indeed help with keeping your hands occupied.
