No, I don't think that they're all fake. I just think that they're out of their tiny minds if they think that I'm going to Africa for a date, or seriously expecting them to come here for one. That's just mental. Nobody is going to come all that way just for a date and only a total nutjob would propose marriage over the internet.

Honestly i do appreciate all your contributions.yes many africans do ask for money but still not all,i am not trying to say that i am the best but myself in particular never demand money from any unless they deciede on there own to do so and know there re people like me out there who are also nice but totally condemed just because they are africans.I still sugest that we all should love one another b/c not all africans who say hello to foreigners re after there money..GOD BLESS YOU ALL

I'm not going to be as nice as some who answered your question. My answer to your question about fakes from your country is YES. We don't owe you an explanation as to why we feel this way. I didn't expect you to be as nice (or as REAL) after reviewing your profile.. HERE'S YOUR OPENING LINE..: WHITE MEN ONLY PLEASE (as in Caucasian men only) ...  
Your profile says NY, yet you sound like some redneck from a southern state.., who had little education..? So I guess your opinion isn't really valid in this subject, because you are obviously prejudiced.., or you would have never put that on your profile.. (and don't tell; me it's a ''preference", because I can prove you wrong in two seconds..) Too bad a young lady like yourself is stuck in old-school thinking.. Love has no color.. she is still entitled to her opinion though I agree moreso with yours. As far as the OP. I trust no one from Nigeria. Race has nothing to do with it, and view all 3rd world profiles with extreme caution for all the reasons cited on here, mainly two though. Scams from Nigeria are documented and reported (you can look it up yourself), and young men looking for someone to sponsor them to get to a first world country. Better to find someone local and do the work and study necessary to get to a first world country yourselves! Good Luck with that. That latter goal (to move to a better situation) is admirable but it becomes not so admirable if you take advantage of others to achieve it. (Not you personally OP, anyone from your area) |

Come here legally and on your own dime please, or expect to be sent home. So these are some of the reasons you may be having some of the issues you cite in the OP. |

I don't believe that everyone from your Country is fake. What I do belive is that some, and I did say some, are actually looking for a passport and an easy life in another Country. This and/or money, access to personal info, bank accounts, etc. I told one alleged Nigerian woman to email me here on the site when she got to town and I'd go pick her up. |

The problem is that thousands of Nigerians have entered the world wide web as scammers. Each one makes hundreds, if not thousands, of scam attacks. The problem is so vast that one would be foolish to not consider the possibility that any given Nigerian is a scammer too. It is just a matter of numbers. No, all Nigerians are not bad but the ones who are bad are really giving the rest a bad reputation.

Some of my foreign friends says i am nice to keep or date but i discoverd they fears me somehow when i said i am from africa(Nigeria).I can't lie or hide my identity later i said the truth.The question is: Do you believe all blacks are fake? Nope,but Internetscamming has become quite a Cottage-Industry in Nigeria and other African States,as well as some Eastern European and former Soviet Republics! |

i got offered marriage by a woman from uganda the other day, wasn't sure to accept or not, trouble is,we've never met, i don't know what she looks like or what interests she has, whether we would be compatible etc,
