Topic: Would you use Voodoo | |
---|---|
Makeup, clothing styles, perfumes, colognes, pheremones.
All used to attract someone you're interested in. Would you consider using Voodoo charms as a tool to attract a potential mate? |

Interesting once you put it into context with everything else we do......but I don't think I would

All the tricks to attract are simply suggestive measures.
Body language, suggestive eye contact. The same types of tactics hypnotists use. Voodoo charms can be worn out of sight and still work. Me. I never used them. Don't need to. I possess an animal attraction. Many others do, as well. Some have just never learned to harness it. |

Nope. You have to be very careful about who you think you want. once there's a spell, it can turn ugly.

I tend to dance like this banana to attract a mate
It only works some of the time though, but when in Rome. As for Voodoo, no definitely not, I'd be terrified that something would go wrong. I remember a few friends talking about doing the Ouija board and when they told me what it was it kinda freaked me out. So voodoo is a no no for me. |

Nope. You have to be very careful about who you think you want. once there's a spell, it can turn ugly. No mention of spells. Any relationship can turn ugly. That's why it's best to get to know someone well before committing to marriage or a live in arrangement. Even then, ya can't say it wouldn't turn ugly. You have me under your spell phrase. That's all just for the initial attraction phase. |

This is an example of a Voodoo love charm.
Christians wear this symbol for protection. Catholics use graven images for various reasons. Here is an example of a Voodoo protection charm. Nobody's afraid of the wiccan. Why not? They have their charms and spells. |

Nobody's afraid of the wiccan. Why not? They have their charms and spells. Fair enough, but I'm, not sure how this ties in with the original question you posed: 'Makeup, clothing styles, perfumes, colognes, pheremones. All used to attract someone you're interested in. Would you consider using Voodoo charms as a tool to attract a potential mate?' I wear my crucifix as a practicing Greek Orthodox, having been Christened and confirmed into the faith as a child and brought up with my own set of Christian beliefs. I wear make-up because I like to look good and feel good when I go out, and when I go to work. Clothing style is uniquely my own - perfume used by ancient cultures....makes me feel and smell good..........none of this is done to attract a potential mate, it is done because they are a small reflection of my belief, deportment, presentation and hygienic rituals....all of which have nothing to do with attracting a mate - well not in my books anyway. |

Think about it.
We men go through a RITUAL when we are getting ready to do a first date. We bathe, shave, put on cologne, have maybe, a couple drinks to calm our nerves. All the while, concentrating on this new gal being attracted enough to us to want to go out again. Ain't that a type of Voodoo? Favorite scent to cover up the fear/anxiety? Clean face? Other rites to come across as desirable to try and sell ourselves. Women. Shave, bathe, maybe spend time at a beauty shop. Ya'll do want to look as hot as you possibly can? Especially if you're really hot for the guy. A favorite bracelet, favorite dress or bra? All lucky charms, no? Don't want to be rushed or thought of as too easy? Wear that cross outside your blouse? Vampire will want to remove that as quick as possible. Even the pictures posted on here. Mostly, are the best form we can present, no? What RITUAL did you go through to get that perfect picture? Me, the one with the cowboy hat and blue plaid shirt. Below the picture, I am in my work drawers. What Voodoo do you use to sell yourself as the pick of the litter? |

I see your point perfectly willing2
When getting ready for a date I do a lot. I have freshly showered and am freshly shaven. I use a scented body lotion. My hair has to be just so, I put on a light coating of makeup (eyeshadow that brings out the green of my eyes). Spray on my favorite perfume, use lip gloss with a bit of flavor that I have placed over my lipstick, the right clothing is a must. I doesn't just mean the outside layer either. I make sure the bra and panties are perfect and I try to make sure they match. If casual, my best comfy jeans and a decent t-shirt. Maybe some earrings as well. If dressing up for the occasion I find it more difficult to get it right. The perfect outfit with the perfect heels and nylons. The perfect earrings and possibly a necklace to match. I find myself changing several times before I think it is right. I do this to feel good as well as to catch his attention. As for an actual voodoo charm, it has never actually crossed my mind. |
