I can so relate to this... Now that I'm without kids at home I still don't have the time or money to fix what needs to be fixed around the house nor the time to do all the stuff that needs to be done...

Not sure I could deal with the roommate thing...

Have thought about it but then it just kind of goes to the way side.. Think I have lived alone way too many years...

Humm seems I just need to find me a cheap handy many to help out on some repairs so I can get some of the stuff repaired.. And a second job just to pay for the handyman lmao

phew.. sometimes ya feel like yer the ONLY one havin a tough time of things.. but misery DOES love company

I know eh?? there's always SOMETHING that needs changing, moving, fixing, painting, replacing etc.. most of the stuff I've been managing on my own with (thank you DAD ) but some stuff simply requires 4 hands or MORE.. sadly it's a vicious circle.. need money to get help.. and need WORK to get the money.. *sighs* yup.. just sucks sometimes.. :ohwell.. dat's life huh LOL

I remember seeing an ad once, years ago, on a Kijiji or Craigs list type site, offering a "handyman" in exchange for a meal.. wish I could find it NOW..

so today is Tuesday (in case y'all were wonderin ) and I've got all of 2hrs work today oh YAY <---sarcasm


it's a cool day FINALLY.. the last few have been more "bake" than just warming oven.. started the A/C last night for about 15 mins.. just long enough to cool down the house then opened the windows again.. made sleepin SOOO much better I tell ya

the roads are quiet out this way it's a holiday here so I guess many are coddling their 'night before' hang overs.. heard lots of fireworks last night AND music.. sound carries round these parts.. especially from across the water..

have a list of things to do too.. thinking I'll start attacking if after I stop so much.. the air feels a lil like a fall day.. and being in the country.. just reminds me of my younger days, laying on the screened in porch, snuggled in a soft blanket, reading an intriguing almost addictive, novel...

well.. best get ma sorry butt movin and put in those 2 hrs of work today... AFTER lunch of course
