AND.. gots me company comin I seriously need to say "no" MUCH louder.. 
I'm curious though.. since when did "I'll THINK about it" mean "SURE! go ahead and make plans for me for MY FIRST FREAKIN TIME OFF" 
thankfully the chores are all done.. vacuuming CHECK, 2 loads'o laundry CHECK, dusting CHECK, cut foam for way window seat CHECK, installed wood brace for bay window foam seat CHECK<--- too high RE-install wood brace fer bay window cushy CHECK, wash living room floor CHECK, wash kitchen floor CHECK, take out all g-baby's toys CHECK.... I'm fergettin somethin hmmm... oh yeah.. changed all the dog's 'furniture covers' in the living room CHECK.. washed bathroom down CHECK...  I think take-out is in order

easy.. I called HER up first(I caught her apparently when SHE was JUST ABOUT ta call ME  ) and started 'n  'n  at her.. then I hung up the phone before she could say a word
she texted me back 2 hrs laters asking if I could call her... please!!  oddly enough.. she was REALLY nice to me wonder why??? 
Good job... payback can be a b*tch..

I'll give you a buzz tonight ((((sis)))) the day?? they arrived Friday afternoon and left Sunday evening.. but g-baby'n I had a GREAT time / visit!!
it's NICE ta have someone light up when you walk into the room.. even IF you've only gone to the bathroom and back

sooooooooooooooooooooooooo.. that was an... hmmm.. interesting? no.. different? no, that isn't it.. hmmm.. adventure?? yeah.. maybe more like the plot to a B-rated cheesy thriller weekend..
so.. my 'visitors' arrived mid afternoon Friday and left Sunday evening.. the 'guise' was to help me out with STUFF (ie yard work).. yup.. nothing got done! at least not for ME I actually got MORE work to do beCAUSE of the 'visit'.. 
it ended up, I was the baby-sitter then taxi for the ONLY 2 days of SUNSHINE! and STILL didn't get my lawn mowed
finally, as a light rain fell yesterday morning, I managed to get 1/2 of it done before it was too slippy to continue.. *sighs* well.. I say NOTHING got done when if fact.. lots got messed up.. her: watch the baby, I'm going to mow the lawn me: is there enough gas in the gas can? cuz I don't think there's much in the mower.. her: uh huh.. plenty me: ok.. thanks.. 10 mins later her: it's low on gas me: use the gas in the gas can her: it's empty me: *sighs* okay.. I'll go get more.. do you have enough to finish that stretch on the side?
her: probably me: okay.. I'll go get more gas when you're done so you can watch the baby her: okay 5 mins later me: already done??? her: the blades won't cut me: what?? why.. what happened? her: don't know.. they just won't cut me: I'll go check, watch the baby
5 mins later me: the deck belt is gone.. where'd it stop cutting
her: somewhere out front me: very helpful.. can you go check please? her: later
so I had to go into the city to buy a new one but WAIT.. it's already TOO LATE delayed another day
Sunday I spent the entire day taxiing them around to look at apartments.. finally got to Canadian Tire at 4:30 pm.. and back home for 5:15.. another day SHOT and 5 mins later I find out her lift is at 6pm
yesterday I spent most of the day cleaning up the mess they left behind.. repairing the mower and getting only 1/2 of it done cuz of the rain again..
good lesson here for me.. next time?? say NO RIGHT away!

well.. the work day is DONE
I love it when MONDAY is actually on TUESDAY
and of course it poured rain all day.. sighs.. oh well.. sun is expected on Thursday so hopefully I'll get it all done by the weekend.. phew
and toDAY is my ELDEST's b-day.. we're doin a movie'n dinner on Saturday ta celebrate.. I've got a bottle of ma fave wine chillin as we speak 
meanwhile.. the OTHER offspring.. was trying to book ma weekend ahGIN just said 'NO! I'm busy already' I'm a quick learner
