John, all of life is based on choices. Being alone, being together, etc.; all choices. Yes, taking chances on people is full of risk & risks can bring discomfort. I CHOSE to take risks, because being totally alone hurts worse than the being around people & taking the chance of getting hurt by them. Being married wasn't perfect, but was worth the discomforts. Chose carefully & accept what comes. YOU control YOUR risks. |
