Personally i would rather be in a relationship. I understand the freedom single ppl have but then again single life has always seemed like a rat race to me.

I've been single too my friend, its great but seeing couples out there happily inlove with each other makes me sick. Single is just a status but my heart? is in relationship.

there is a lot of advantages to being single. I know them all too well. ive been single for close to 4 years. im getting pretty sick and tired of it already. the amusement has worn off,shredded itself and blew up in a fire :)

I like being single right now as it's almost hockey playoffs time. Actually like watching games instead of just highlights...

I love being single, but I wish I can have a steady play thing that I can go out and have fun with also. I guess having my cake and eating it too. The only time being single bugs me, is when I'm with couples

I enjoy being single, but sometimes gets too lonely. But I'm too picky when it comes to choose my future partner/boyfriend. I respect myself a lot when it comes to meet "someone"

..if it wasn't for the intimacy part...Iwouldn't mind being single so much...I like me I like doing what i like to do.it is nice not having to accommodate someone else's desires...don't get me wrong.. I love being in a relationship..and compromising with each other...but for now i'm enjoying me...now if Me.could have sex 4 times a week..perfection..

After 20 years of marriage, I am beginning to like being single. If I want to jump in the truck for a ride, I do it, if I want to go TomCatting @ O'dark thirty, I can, and If I want to pack up and head to Florida I will. Paid my dues, now it's a bit of 'Me' time.

the only time that it sucks being single is when your surrounded with couples... other than that.. its good being one..

I would rather be alone than with the wrong person. A relationship would be better though for sure. @side note to scoobert 34 Lets go Red wings !!

i'd prefer a relationship, but not a live-in arrangement...more like a sleep-over, now and then, kinda deal...i like the sanctuary of having my own place too much...

I like to enjoy my single life but...is nice to have once in a while the nice warm masculine hand even just to hold yours when feeling down or lonely. I'm pretty sure my sweetheart is there somewhere in the world.

The reply made me laugh more than the comment! In answer to the OP's question, for me it's all about finding the right person, not the one you can live with but the one you can't live without, until then I prefer to stay single.
