Topic: The Heart... | |
---|---|
The combination to my heart can't be smashed open with a mallet
Nor even by the skilful hand of a master lock-picker It can't be opened with honey soaked words of desire Nor the saccharine sweetness of heady lust Because his patience is infinite His timing is perfect His need is as great as mine And he KNOWS me Like no other And what HE does, he DOES so very, very gently That this lock opens wide and in it A heart beating passionately How could it not How could I resist . . . . . . . . I wouldn't . . . And . . . I didn't. An original poem by Tulip1969 (First published elsewhere on 13/04/2012) |
