Where have you met your partner in the past?
I don't think it's the pub, probably not at work either. So where the heck do ppl meet their partner?

Was it work, the sport-school, the shop, the park etc.

University.......through a friend.......work

With hubby, first it was in a convention abroad.

After a few months, in an elevator at a business district.

After another few months in a book shop at a local mall.

After a couple more months, at a mutual friend's party.

It was kismet. We figured, we should let fate take a day off and finally introduce ourselves to each other. :)

I met my hubby at the sport school. My last partner online. And I had a boyfriend for 3 years that lived next-door when I met him.

I've met my last few relationships at either friends parties, or a gig that the band I was in were playing.

Well, maybe more details will help, since you ladies were all so impressed with my first date at my place plan.

Someone told me that there was a nice girl that lived a few streets away, so I wrote her a letter and put a CD in with it that had a picture of me on the cover. She came round for a coffee and we just "dated" like that for a while until we did anything physical or went out together. That's just what I consider normal and I haven't really done all that much conventional dating. Well, I've done a bit of it but that doesn't usually work very well for me and I'm probably too forward or direct for the sort of woman that goes in for that sort of formality.

I met my first husband on the CB radio....wow was that a few years ago or what? My second I met at the bowling alley and my last relationship was from work.
