My inner alarm system is ringing very loud today. It starts with love by chatting and Skype. I am old enough for knowing that fantasy can make love growing very high. There was good understanding and some basically characteristics which are good for partnership, yeah.
Today we had our third big battle. He has that I-problem, means: I need, I feel, I am missing you, when will I see you? When I ask him, to give me some encouraging words, he just goes on with, I am missing. Hey, this is making me sick. Do I really need this till the end of my life? Okay, with 58 years and with overweight I do not have much chance to choose, but Jesus says: choose Life! Well today I choose life, healthiness, Joy and Peace! I follow the advice: What you see is what you get. Is here anyone with same experience? God bless you! |

Hunny, hunny, you are making excuses for him already,
that somehow it is YOUR fault (you list your supposed flaws) that he is so self-involved. Pack up that wisdom you have earned and seek a better fit for yourself :-) |

Humm first of all not sure if you have meet this guy since your saying it is on Skype. If it is only online and there are issues........walk away....
I don't do needy people , they must be able to get through the day on their own and be able to make decisions without help.... Don't get me wrong I love being around someone that can make me laugh and smile but I will not stay with one that whines every day.... |

Yeah, thanks to both of you. I don't need a selfish man. God has promised me a husband and God is faithful. He will do it!

If he is not giving you what you need..move on.
From what you describe...I would recommend.. Ceasing all communication now. Sounds unhealthy..life is hard enough. Jmo. |

... but I will not stay with one that whines every day.... You are totally right, haha. He loves crying on phone. I hate that game. Thank God, I have not travelled very far to seeing him and I did not send invitation. God has blocked it. Well, it was very interesting. God may bless him. I am already blessed and free. Hallelujah! |

Thank your dear! Yes, it is unhealthy.

Oh my God!
You can't believe! I was totally misinterprating his words and his behaviour. Yeah, really. I thank God for revealing the truth! Since two months we are husband and wife. He is the right man for me, as I am the right woman for him. We are praising God every day. |

In this case you are where it matters most, not him. On a practical level some men cannot accept our truth. So it's time to walk away from them.

When did co-dependent behavior or neediness become sexy?

Anything or anyone, for that matter, can destroy if you assign that kind or power.
