Nah. I could NEVER date anyone too opposite. I have a hard enough time telling my sis to turn her hip hop songs down, because rap songs irritate me. So getting along with a guy who has hardly any similar things in common with me, won't get lucky with me. I don't mind what my FRIENDS are into though, but that's because we already get along, and we'll never date each other.

I think it's only opposites attract, when it comes to a few things. Not the values you base what are needs for a relationship. As I'm sure most of us have gone for that weird opposite at one time or another, we see it's exciting at 1st, but soon loses it's luster. Too many things of opposite will eventually just drive you crazy, at least was my experience. Had to ask myself what was I thinking?!

most pick opposites ---like the odd couple---so if she talks a lot---then he is the quit type---men and women are so different in how they think and process information and also on a emotional level---men for the most part are left brained the logical side---women are right brain the emotional side for the most part---now you see why there will be conflicts---the answer is self awareness of what is going on under the surface---most conflicts are surface noise and its not the real problem anyway---most are running on auto and unaware of core issues they have brought to the relationship---those issues determine the success or failure of the relationship !!!!! what i mean by a core issue is like for example you believe ''you do not deserve to be happy''---''all men or women are #@%&'' ---''people you care about will leave you'' etc etc etc these issues are not something that is on a conscious level---when our life is not going so good we need to look inside and see if we have a part in whats going on so we can get back on track--the sad part is most will not because they by now have favorite feelings and emotions they need to recycle---we can not love or beloved by others without first learning to love the beautiful little child in ourselves-- oh by the way all our feelings come from the child in us---
