when i first joined i posted a story about the friendship between my bfriend eric and i and how it changed my life im not sure how many of u remember it but thats where this comes from





For what seems like an eternity
You have been my best friend
When life was hell unleashed
You lead me through the darkness and fear

Admiration filled my heart to the brim
Now added to that admiration
Is a respect deeper than any

The day you told me you must go back
Fear turned my stomach
Sobs stuck in my throat

You have the courage
To go where others cannot
Knowing full well
what the sacrifice may be
And so with a brave face

Letting go is so hard
But if I must

The courage you have shown
