Can we please not focus on frogs frown I had a frog approx 14cm in my garden last year, green with black spots (Pelophylax ridibundus). First thought it was a toad, turned out to be a normal indigenous frog. Totally freaked me out ill Even worse than killer poodles, cos I ain't got those in my garden, tongue2

I saw the frog, didn't think of it, but in the feedback on YouTube the OP mentioned it was woken up from hibernation by warmth. And dang, good point! It shouldn't have been active, it's winter!

I found out it was in Lithuania, cos I'm smart with internet, lol. I wanted to know where in Europe, I mean, I am in Europe, wanna know if it's nextdoor or not.
So I Googled the OP's name, found a Russian page with his name, indicating he's Russian.
Then I found an article on his clip which mentioned it was in Lithuania and had that professor's quote.
Here it is :)

You're welcome. And nice you're not complaining about my full length report. I'm fully aware that I could've sufficed with the link. But I couldn't help myself. I'm a woman. We like to tell the whole story.

Hi, Rory here. I was reading and... I lean towards methane gases. Low water table in a small pond. Makes for heavy thick folege in the spring and summer. Decomposeing . She right I think . I loaded trucks at a quarry in south east Missouri alittle bit south of Madison county. It was from 6 pm to 6 am. I saw some things. Goggle, the lights on Madison county Missouri. These sightings go back hundreds of years. I have seen some wild things like day light at 1 am! And I was married to a red head for an hour and a half! Lol!
