Topic: How to remove skin tags | |

I heard that some simple common potion will remove skin tags quickly. I got on the net and mostly just found ads that sell products which consist of "simple organic ingredients". Is there something that works? I, somehow, doubt that garlic works.

I thought about getting rid of a few more with a pair of toenail clippers but the net seems to be loaded with many "home remedies" of apple cider, aspirin, ... you name it. I was wondering if anything worked. |

simple works, my dearly departed granny taught us
the best way was to tie sewing thread around it's base. tighten till it starts to hurt then knot it off and clip the thread ends off. takes a few days, but cutting off the blood supply simply turns it into dead tissue and it'll fall off,,, |

I went to the dermatologist to remove skin tags
in the neck area. As he is snipping away, I said, "What is the difference between YOU snipping them and me getting some scissors and snipping them?" He said, "Thirty five dollars each." Since then, I just snip them young :-) Now as to garlic, some neighbor told me to tape a piece of (cut side down) garlic to a wart-like thingy on my foot for 2 weeks. Uh huh. But I did. Dang if it didn't work. When I pulled it off, the thingy went with. I have cut up enough garlic to know it can burn your hands, I assume it was this same effect. |

Mine were only $25 apiece ... plus the office visit. I thought the garlic idea was silly, but maybe not. |

They are only about a sixteenth of an inch in diameter and not very long. |

Thread or dental floss...just tie it up, and be patient. It'll fall off, just like a pup's tail.

You can buy skin tag removal stuff at the pharmacy.
Its made for that. |

Tea tree oil. Skin tags are actually a very mild fungus. Apply it directly on it. Spray some colloidal silver on it also.

Thread or dental floss...just tie it up, and be patient. It'll fall off, just like a pup's tail. Tying a string around a pups tail will result in gangrene of the dogs tail and require emergency surgery and if you can not prove you did not do it a cruelty to animals charge in most states. Using non-sterile instruments or threads to remove skin tags can result in skin infections and nasty scars. Often when they are removed, without dermalogic freezing they grow back. |
