DEW 'I DREAM that he is mine, I dream that he is true, And all his words I keep As rose-leaves hold the dew. O little thirsty rose, O little heart beware, Lest you should hope to hold A hundred roses' share.' ~~~ Helen of Troy and Other Poems (1911) Sara Teasdale |

"Achieve what you believe" Me in 10th grade. I never understood why people quote themselves. If you're describing yourself with a quote and you quote yourself, isn't that just you describing yourself in your own words? |

Hiiiiii Sing I described myself...in my own words. I must have misunderstood the question. just saying You didn't actually quote yourself, though. I just wonder why people quote themselves like that. That's all. |

Invictus
Out of the night that covers me, Black as the Pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll. I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul. William Ernest Henley |

That's true you are describing yourself in your own words... But in all reality it's still a quote doesn't say it had to be famous. And who knows who may love what You say and hang on to it! Life is all about how you look at it ijs. Something you personal say I may love it and it may catch on then it's a quote right? because everyone is using it on a daily basis...ddoesn't matter who said it if they say it repeatedly is what made it a quote :)
