I've just been doing a lapdance, with an empty chair, lol, but it was definitely fun to do! I have no idea whether I'd feel comfy enough to do this with a man though. Keeping eye-contact and so on, iekkh! Talk about having confidence and feeling comfortable with your femininity, a striptease or lapdance could be the ultimate test, haha.
The bottom line of a healthy relationship is both parties feeling confident in their bodies and as a man or woman. Esp women have been drilled to be more masculine (achieving, organizing, acting etc,) to be regarded successful. So how confident are you as a woman, with your body? Would you dare do a striptease / lap-dance and feel bluddy good about yourself and show him you do? Or is it more like "NO WAY!!!" or have you tried and felt absolutely uncomfortable about it? Can you only do it after half a bottle of Jack? Just curious as over here in the Netherlands you can do a striptease workshop, not to learn how to do this for your man, but to learn to get in touch with your femininity again, daring to be "woman" and confident. That just got me thinking "just how uncomfortable and insecure would the average woman be?" |

with a partner I have only four rules
no objects (just human to human contact) no cameras no third parties no unsanitary or illegal fetishes,,lol other than that, Im all for being the source of pleasure for my partner that Id like them to be for me,,, |

I have not done a strip tease in a while, but I used to have fun doing them. I have really long legs and using them with the dance is a sensual weapon. I try to keep that kind of teasing at bay.

So, if you have the baws to do so, would you need to be with a partner for a while before having the baws, or would you dare do it quite soon?
Not asking for saucy details, mind you, just curious how 'brave' us girls are and how much sense of security we need before we'd do something like that. I must admit I've never done it myself. I wanted to with my first partner, but I lacked the self-confidence back then. I would give it a whirl now, maybe use a date for guinea-pig first, lol |

The only time I felt insecure about my body, was when I was a teen. I've performed many a lapdance for my ex boyfriends. Yes. They seem surprised when the dark horse finally emerges. ;)

It's fun Crystal. If I can strip for somebody, then I'm sure that you can. It's a laugh. I feel self concious dancing in public with my clothes on but dancing around naked for a girlfriend in private is fun.
You think about these things too much and you should just do it. I used to play pool with my ex and if she won I would do a turn for her and if I won she would do what I wanted. Makes it more interesting and everyone's a winner really. Just a suggestion but if you feel nervous about it, doing it for a dare as part of a game like that can make it less awkward. Remember what you said before about having sex with your brain. Fantasies are all very well but planning it out is lame and for people that are desperately trying to spicen up something that has gone stale. Remember this as well. Stripping is like a domination thing but whether it's the men or the women stripping it's always the women having the power and the men looking foolish. |

When I ask about other people's experiences, feelings etc. it doesn't necessarily mean that I have a problem, trauma, crisis, insecurity or whatever with that particular subject. I am simply eager to learn and I can be very open and talk, ask, share about things other people would only whisper about in backrooms. That's just who I am. I often notice that people aren't used to that, and esp English people can be somewhat shocked as many of them still have this keeping up appearances thing: "You don't talk about that!" I'm more like "WTF not?" We all go to the sh***er, lol, we all have sex (or at least want to), all have insecurities blablabla. I like to bring things into the open and communicate. And again, doesn't necessarily mean I have a hangup or am worried, I have an interest, and an eager-to-learn mind. |

Body confidence does not require a striptease or a lapdance be performed in order to be noticed, at least in my humble opinion.

Please continue.... ^^ Body confidence is a beautiful thing! Hello tasty brew! Aloha (((Leigh))) Confidence is a beautiful thing and a sexxy thing. However sometimes one needs to be like Nike and "just do it" cause you never truly know results until you do. Courage is sexxy too and while they may share similarities they aren't the same. |

The diagnosis is too much talking and not enough dancing

Body confidence does not require a striptease or a lapdance be performed in order to be noticed, at least in my humble opinion. This is also true, but if it is "my" guy, in "our" private space, he is going to get the full monty!...His wish is my command! |

Agree, and never, ever compare your body to that of another...This is one of the secrets to developing body confidence... Ain't that the truth! They aren't you and you aren't them so why compare? There are people out there who prefer all kinds of things for a number of reasons and not a single one will be identical. |

And again, doesn't necessarily mean I have a hangup or am worried, I have an interest, and an eager-to-learn mind. Well alright, I just got the impression that it was something that you were a bit nervous about because of what you said about it there. The thing is, I'm more of a tactile person than visual and I'm not good at making eye contact. Not sure but it seemed like that was the part that you were nervous about? I had a sort of lap dance from the last woman that I was with and it was alright but it's been a while since I've done anything like that. Just replying to your thread though and trying to tell you about my experiences because I don't really care about keeping up appearances as you know and even if it was the ladies that you were asking, I'm just saying that it's something that I've done because the woman that I was with at the time had that fantasy. The way that I look at it, it's all about the getting naked and foreplay. I didn't say that you were insecure and I'm sure that you look gorgeous with your clothes off. I'm not insecure about my body either but I still felt a bit silly the first time that I stripped for somebody. Not really sure why but it was probably just the dancing part because like I said, I feel a bit self concious doing that in public with my clothes on. To answer your question about how long you would be with somebody before you would do something like this though; I really don't know. I just don't really think about it like that but then, I'm not a woman and I suppose that you weren't asking me. I don't think that a man really wants a tease and that's a female fantasy. When I did it my girlfriend told me to slow down and not get my tackle out until she was ready. It's whatever gets the woman aroused really. If that's pretending that you're stripping for a guy and you want to do that, then great. Even now after all of these years, I still have problems with those bra straps. |
