Here is what I think

You word things very well in the hopes that you can fool folks into believing half that crap...basicly a salesman. And for the most part it works very well for you. But you fall short with me.

Really does it matter what some of us less educated folks think? You will find some way in disproving anything we have to say. That has been the case on every one of these threads.

I wonder do you really have the intelligence to think outside those books that have brainwashed you?

To you their just books. To me they are the words of living breathing human beings, many of which I have either actually met in person, talked with on the telephone, or exchanged emails with. Obviously some of them are no longer living and I have to settle with trying to understand who they were through biographies and so forth.

You use the word “brainwash”, but that assumes that I just accept everything I read without questioning it. Nothing could be further from the truth, I question the most prominent scientists. I don’t believe them until I’ve worked through all the possibilities myself. Even then I may not come to the same conclusions they have. Science is my life because it uses reason. I’m attracted to rational thought.

By your own proclamation you label yourself as “less-educated”. I’ll assume that means less-educated than trained scientists.

There’s nothing wrong with that.

But then you say things like,…

“The animal theory has already been disproved”

And what was your basis for saying that?

Because a self-admitted less-educated person asked the wrong question and jumped to a totally erroneous conclusion.

If you are admittedly less-educated than the professional scientists, then why do you claim to have disproved something?

On your own no less!

It’s this continual desire of uneducated people to claim to have “proofs” of things that they have no knowledge of that I find disturbing.

Why do you claim to have proof of things you admit you are not educated in?

That’s the part I don’t understand.

But alas, I’m seriously tired of attempting to educate people who clearly aren’t interested in becoming educated. If you wish to claim to have proofs of things you know nothing about by my guest.

I officially give up trying to help unappreciative people pro bono! laugh

Everyone may now return to the regularly scheduled dark ages.

From the looks of exchange between Steven and Abra, it looks like Abra handle Steven's hat to him.
