If you go here, you can see how/why YOUR 'Friends List'
is showing, or not showing: http://mingle2.com/user/edit_profile Check the lower right, where the option is: {Other Settings Show testimonials when other users view your profile? Show-Don't Show Show your friends list when other users view your profile? Show-Don't Show} If the profile has checked 'Show' for the 'Friends List', anybody can see it. One must be on a person's 'Friends List' to be able to give a Testimonial to that person, just FYI :-) |

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE FRIENDS LIST AND WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO THIS. CAN SOMEONE HACK INTO MY PROFILE OR SYSTEM. PLEASE REPLY THANKS A 'Friends' list gives you quick access to their profile and if you send a message from that list you will not appear on their 'Recent Activity' list. Also, anyone on your 'Friends' list can write you a Testimonial, it is a reciprocal thing. Not sure what you mean by hacking as ANYone can look at anyone else's profile. |
