Topic: 'Stars'. | |
---|---|
Those 'stars' you see above you,
Those 'stars' you see at night From the distant past it reaches you Those little 'dots' of light Is it a newly birthed Galaxy? Or a high velocity White Dwarf? A rapidly spinning neutron star? The Universe is quite vast Quasars, Pulsars, Binaries A possible Wolf-Rayet too Their ages can be understood The spectrum of light is the clue While clouds above obscure my views I never cease to be amazed And as soon as those clear skies resume Upwards is my gaze For Carl Sagan, my hero.
