In the minds of those who hope that the change comes.

But not in the minds of those who don't know about it or thought about it...hope that is.ohwell ohwell

Who cares about fact checking, definitely not a politician but then the other wasn't fact checking, it was business and Romney understood business, a concept so hard for some to grasp.

Uh, what does Romney have to do with the topic of this thread's OP?

it went like this dodo

people asking for more probably didn't want to work or were people who wanted more than they 'earned'

which is in line with a Romney quote

"There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it -- that that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what. ... These are people who pay no income tax. ... [M]y job is not to worry about those people. I'll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

whereupon those seeking any assistance from government all think the same way, believe the same way, and have an (unearned) sense of entitlement

and , of course, any of that 47 percent, are obviously 'odumnites'

similar to those in this particular reference who sought a raise and ended up unemployed because THEIR business was going down the pipes even before the request, but who may have held on to the job if they had just not asked for what was 'not earned'

,,,got it?

Another thought. They won the raises, lost their jobs and then won a pay decrease. lol

They also won extended vacations. I think there was more winning then they realize. hahaha

they have to stand with all the people losing their jobs who didn't ask for a raise,,

starting over, kind of status quo in lower income jobs..

Having a problem following the thread, well you start at the beginning and read all the posts to the end and then mysteriously, the thread has a statistic that is attributed to Romney.

And of course questions are asked, like this one and Romney keeps coming up.

And now they get less pay, but then they don't have to work at all.
