true, people don't starve or freeze or see things they worked hard for taken away from them gracefully ,

survival instinct takes over

All I really want to say is it sounds like they didn't really win anything. Except being unemployed. Surprise!!!

It's the American way.

Not really, the American way was subverted more than a century ago.

It's the American way.

yep

employers can definitely dictate the wage that works for maximum profit

employees can do the same,,,,,

except that employees have employeea come to them at a rate of about 100 applicants per opening.....

making an average of about 99 other people seeking that other job you may seek when your pay isn't adequate,,,,

so yeah, just 'get a job',, or 'get a different job',,,,and hope your 1 percent chance pays off this time,,,lol

employees be grateful , WHATEVER They offer,

employers,, offer what works best for you.....

Really and you would know this how? Oh, I know you have been interviewing for those jobs.

Now how would I know? Well I am hiring. Have been interviewing for three positions, all skilled trade but I have had about twenty applicants, hey that's about six per position.

But I know, you know someone that knows someone that has heard from someone that 100 people apply for each position.

Of course, I have two of these positions because I fired two that weren't working out. And I'm going to have two more positions open because I'm planning on firing two more but I'm waiting for all those hundreds to apply so I can find qualified candidates.

Now I will say this, I have found three really good people, if I could only find two more for now and a couple of extra for the future.

Funny how that works! Those that are trying to get what they didn't earn are always surprised when that extended hand gets filled with crap. Imagine that.

But there was "Hope" and "Change". Most hoped that at the end there would be some "Change" left.
