It's simple. If you don't like facial hair or long hair, then move on to the next profile. If you're searching for a doctor, lawyer or commodities broker, maybe you're looking in the wrong place. I'm retired, and if you wanted to know what my profession was, all you'd have to do is ask, not complain because I didn't tell you up front. My ex was a complainer. Now she's an ex. My thoughts on this
Any woman who takes care of herself physically and emotionally is a Trophy wife ! There is someone out there for every one. I prefer both younger women and older women. But they have to be : 1) Slim, Tone, Fit, Above Average Built 2) Class, Smart, Secure, Fun, Sexy & a Vixen 3) Pretty to drop drop dead gorgeous 4) Alive !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5) Sexually active Above: Number One: A woman must be able to out live me and be able to be active. Both men and women have different ideas on what Slim, Tone, Fit and average built is. :-) Number two: Nothing worse then having sex partner, you enjoy in bed, but cannot take out in public. Number three: A woman does not have to be a Barbie to be Gorgeous, if the outer beauty and inner beauty balance out. Number Four: I think most men do not want a woman,that says i can't,i do not want to. Number Five : Sleep is nice, but sex and cuddling is far better !!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I just celebrated my 68th birthday by falling and breaking a rib. Not that THAT has anything to do with anything.
I enjoy the company of a woman near my own age. In Mingle2 my parameters are 65 - 68. Seriously. Whoever said a 68 year old fellow lacks confidence was blowing smoke. I live alone because I PREFER to live alone rather than with the wrong person. I would be a good "catch" so to speak. Do not be afraid of me, I am one of the good guys! Joe |

absolutely men are looking for "older" women. While there will always be men (and women) who go for the young eye candy. That is most always short lived. I prefer (and I think many other men do to) women of my own general age. We have much more in common and can relate to many things that older / younger couples can not.. which creates staying power. The young "candy" is very nice.. but its candy... a quick boost, but In the long run it can't compete. |

After looking through hundreds of pics of men between the ages of 59 and 70 I have noticed that Most pictures portray individuals of at least 10years older than their declared age. What is it with the scraggly beards, mustaches and long hair? I'm inclined to think "..are you kidding? Or what kind of life have you lived? And do I want to live that life too? Why are you hiding behind all that hair? If the guy is on his Harley, with his dog, sport car, a prized fish, children or grand babies and beater shirt; face it he is not going to be into you. You are now a part of his collection. Another thing. Profession: Retired . This tells you nothing about the guy, only that he cannot afford you for a wife or long term relationship. Profession should be more specific and require an industry too. Like retired:Farmer, preacher, scientist so as to relate to a possible prospective. Just wondering,little things
This is one reason y we don't go for "older" women. The 20 questions, judgmental behavior, simply "mental", and financial statements "requirements" lol Older women cannot seemed to simply relax and enjoy the moments without complaining... more power 2u! Different strokes/ Different folks. Men & Women need to do the same thing. FRIENDSHIP: Is where everything starts. MANNERS REQUIRED. Decent pictures help. Age isn't just a number, attitude can help over come SOME age differences. Now you have MY OPINION.

Older men are looking for younger women.. I have been contacted by many more younger men than those my own age. They see themselves as getting old and I guess think that if we are over 45, then we will age faster then them,, not sure... anyways,, in my one year of looking, I have either been approached by those much younger or much much older.... Well; I have to agree with that and have experienced the same thing except not been approached by much older guys. I live in Oil town here and men my age want younger women, so older women barely get the time of day. Its all cool though as now I can dedicate my time to my hobbies so not losing any sleep over it. Life can be loads of fun being solo.
