Ive been on this site for awhile now and it seems like people are hard to chat with or even meet..i thought this was a place to chat and meet people...or is something wrong with me? IDK is there?

I've met local people through this site. There are people that want to meet and some of them won't even insist on chatting for weeks first.
It's just pot luck. You can't expect everybody to be interested in you. Someone that is can just come along when you're least expecting it though. |

i am having the same problem hard to find ppl to talk to all they do is snoop at your profile and thats it.i thought i would make some new friends by now smh.

I totally agree. There are some good ones but most are just looking to flirt. Fake and inactive profiles are the majority is seems.

Here's what happens:
A. Women become more critical per contact the more contacts there are to critique. B. Women become more skeptical of contacts because, hey, this is the internet! C. Their friends display more A. and B., because they become overly protective. D. One ot more of their friends may become jealous, becoming actively discouraging of the relationship. A. Men are too quick to make probing innuendos. |

I understand what you mean. I've been on and off Mingle for years. Never found a serious minded person looking for the same thing I'm looking for. The forum's ok, but it's the same questions repeated all the time. Good luck, hope the site works for you.

99.9% of the women have on their profiles "last seen over a month ago" the .1% are not what i'm looking for.
I gave up on this site for dating a long time ago 2 dates in 6 years. As the poster above typed the forums are repetitive that's why i debate in general religion.That gets lame too. Other than that it works for some and not others. |

To be honest, I think as long as you use the forums, this makes a good social site. Sadly, alot of the regulars on the forums are not looking I have noticed. I haven.t met anyone from my area on the forums yet, The ones who are in my area nessage me but thats few and far between and Im not interested in those that do. Maybe its my bad luck but this is a common complaint. I don't think its the sites fault. I think its the people that are using all the sites out there. The forums here remind me of myspace forums |
