I feel curious and in pain. I'm curious about why the stitches on my back hurt much mire today 3 weeks after surgery than they did in the beginning. How long should it take for the sensitivity to be gone?

How long should it take for the sensitivity to be gone? Ummm...Last I knew they removed stitches within 7 or 9 days sweety. Might want to ask them why they are leaving them in so long. (((dreamer)))

Oh. These are melt away stitches. They don't have to be removed. They stitch you and then put on this skin glue. The glue is supposed to come off after 2 weeks. The stitches just go away. I guess. But even though it hasn't been more than general annoyance, tonight it hurts worse than when they first did it.

Hotter water in the shower maybe Might help remove the glue. They did that when I had ACL surgery, only no stitches just the glue.
