LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Federal Aviation Administration has chosen six states to develop test sites for drones, a critical next step for the unmanned aircraft's march into U.S. skies. The FAA announced Monday the sites will be based in Alaska, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Texas and Virginia. Drones have been mainly used by the military, but governments, businesses, farmers and others are making plans to join the market. Many universities are starting or expanding drone programs. The FAA does not allow commercial use of drones, but it is working to develop operational guidelines by the end of 2015. Officials concede it may take longer. FAA Administrator Michael Huerta says safety is the first priority in moving drones into U.S. airspace. http://www.fox5vegas.com/story/24327526/feds-announces-test-sites-for-drone-aircraft Can we expect to see cammo drones, as well? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEj1DE4RR9M Published on Oct 9, 2013 The birds may be watching you - and that's not paranoia. A new surveillance drone dressed up as an avian predator and with the same flight performance is being marketed to armies across the globe. RT's Sara Firth went to check it out. |

more Ruby Ridges and Mount Carmels! If we had drones like we do now like the RQ-170 Sentinel both incidents would have happened a lot differently, more then likely without loss of life. |
