Now that you come to mention it, I would date a woman that was a midget and I saw a thing on TV once where one took a bath with a guy and I would have been into that and got quite turned on by the idea.

I did have a date with a midget once actually and she wasn't white either but unfortunately she had too much of an obnoxious personality, so I didn't see her again.

Alright, I know that this is going to be really contraversial but I don't like frizzy hair and that's a deal breaker for me.

Some white girls have frizzy hair. And they make chemicals for black women to straighten their hair. How many black people have you actually known in person?huh

I think the US is rather unique in that sense, as you've had both black & white people there for a couple of hundred years. So you basically built up the country together, regardless how the balance was.
In Europe the situation is entirely different. The black ppl we get over here, are mostly (former) refugees and we have a minority group of black people from former colonies (Suriname and the Antilles).
So they haven't been here for all that long. That makes a he|| of a difference!

The relationships aren't very indicative that we've been here long. Still a lot of bs every so often.laugh

yeah, I've noticed. Must admit I had to get used to it. Didn't know the B & W bs was still such a big issue.
Here things seem to focus more on religion (Islam) and currently eastern Europeans flooding our western European countries. As per January the Bulgarians (and I believe Romanians as well) are allowed to travel wherever they want in Europe, so we will probably get lots and lots of 'em, wanting benefits, houses, schooling, healthcare etc etc.

Well, let me see. There was this guy that everybody called Black Chaz that used to score from my brother and when I went to primary school I had a friend that was what they used to call a molato but those were more innocent times and I just thought that he was a white guy with frizzy hair. Apart from that, I had a taxi driver once that was African but apparently he was only interested in talking to female passangers, according to the other drivers, so I wouldn't say that I really got to know him.

Yep, that's typical of most people. We're all the same until it matters, and then we're not.laugh

I used to live in Vegas and I worked with this one African American woman who was up their in her years. Grey hairs and all that. She was a cool person. But it was obvious that her past had a very big effect on how she interpreted thing and how I interpreted them. There was this one guy, wasn't even black I think he was arab or some other minority. But he got gunned down by cops and she seemed pretty sure it was some kind of conspiracy thing. That the police were covering up the truth about why they shot the guy.

I just think it's interesting how she saw things vs how I saw things.

No really, she was quite unpleasant and I was quite disappointed because all that I knew about her before I met her was that she was Palestinian and I had this fantasy about meeting an Arabian princess with big dark sexy eyes, like the one out of the old Turkish Delight adverts, or the one that James Bond slept with in one of those movies. She wasn't sexy or friendly though and all she talked about was hating Isreal.

We just didn't click and that was all that there was too it but like I said, it wasn't her hight that put me off and if I met the right midget it wouldn't matter to me what colour that she was, as long as she was prepared to straighten her hair and not just cut it really short because I don't like that either.

I spent some 5 months living in an aboriginal community in central Australia when I was 20. Trust me, that gives you a lot of insight in discrimination. The way these ppl got treated by the majority of the white Australians, utterly appalling. Then you start to think "but I'm white too!"
Kind of mind boggling experience, you go from guilt to understanding, enjoying the Aboriginals, their culture, back to guilt etc. Made me feel quartered and drawn. Also had to deal with the white Aussies, as I was selling them souvenirs, and I got to listen to a lot of judgment and narrow-mindedness. Truly life altering experience ...

I've heard some racist things about Native American tribes. Calling them stupid and lazy and evil.

I'm not really understanding all this skin color obsession I have been reading on threads lately. We all have things were attracted to and I agree that there are cultural differences but my lord why limit yourself to one type of person. If you(I do) seek a true lasting love then why limit yourself. There is no Mythical woman who is a better lover, mother, companion, for us. Its love, and true love that makes people care about us. When I roll over in the morning I don't want to think oh cool a black woman is laying next to me I want to think thank you God for her being here. I want to call her on lunch and say" Hey I can't wait to be with you". Its love that conquers all not race. I feel all women are a gift from God and I pray I find the right one to share my life with and could careless about color, height, or hair. JMO

Love isn't blind...we all have preferences :D
to each his/her own

I live in a country where there are barely any Caucasian men yet I have always been attracted to them...to Native Americans...Asians...

I'm just looking now and hoping to find someone with similar values/beliefs

Only as blind as my taste in music. laugh. I'm a bit of a music snob. Okay, a lot, not just a bit. I only like guitar bands. So no hip hop please. *backs away slowly*

Must not be a thing in America, no one I know says "init." I like hip hop music, but I like other kinds too. And we have that creepy Robin Thicke, so it's not just blacks who like hip hop or soul music, or whatever the hell he thinks he's doing. (I despise him, in case you can't tell)

brokenheart Painte say it isn't so!! Robin Thicke is my imaginary baby daddy!! I've never heard the word "Init" before.....I take it to mean slang speak constantly?
Yes... Love is blind but 4 ft tall guy...would have to be AMAZING!!
