Topic: What do you guys think of speed dating?

I've never done the speed dating thing, but it looks like it would be fun. I usually know if I vibe with a guy within 5 mins. I've talked to guys on here... that I was feeling, then he says something really, really stupid... and ruins it all. Me: you are really cool, Let's meet up at ----! Him: Okay, You have to talk me into it cricket, cricket ( quiet) Never to accept phone calls from him again. Speed Dating... I'm fot it

would never work with me I HATE being rushed and I don't feel most people can be charming when under a time limit,,,,just knowing they were trying to get it all in in such a short time would make them all seem disingenuous to me

I've recently been thinking about that as well, TeeBee. Might very well give it a whirl too. I'm not really into the whole 'normal' dating much. Like you, I usually know straight away, or very soon after meeting, if he's someone I could be in to or not. But if not, you don't bugger off straight away (maybe I should, lol), so you spend some time with that date anyway. Some might enjoy that, I don't, waste of time. The only bummer is that speed dating seems to be quite expensive. Think I've only seen it advertised for some E35 and I'm not sure whether I'm willing to spend that much money on it. But I think I could actually enjoy it. If you only have 5-10 minutes to talk to someone, you could get hilarious situations and conversations. At least it won't be boring,

Doesn't sound like my thing, I have to talk to a guy a few times to get a sense of what he's about, that wouldn't be nearly enough time for me.

At least it won't be boring, A smile, smell good, and not saying anything stupid for 10 whole minutes... puts some guys in my top 10! See, I'm very low maintenance!
