Kate..
Please don't ever give up. I know it can be very frustrating wondering what's wrong. Have you tried pain managment, I heard they can help some times?? |
not yet i haven't...i've been living off of ibuprofens
Sweety you are going to the wrong docs...
Don't give up. I had probblems too that had alot of pain involved- and bleeding all the time. Took two years before I finally got a hysterectomy. No more pain or anything else... |
not sure what to do anymore..i've been to my regular dr, gyn and a gastreontologist

Firstly...hugs Katers...and a tissue to wipe your tears away.
ok...call me the pragmatic one...you have a long list of what it is NOT...medically...that causes this pain you suffer. Now for a thought..please bear with me here... The body is often a reflection of stuff we have supressed...emotions, thoughts...'programmes'..old obsolete ones we dont consciously think about. Have you considered looking into 'Bodytalk', and Reiki? Perhaps your pain, (and it is real, I am not saying is all in your mind) is manifested through stuff that needs clearing? Perhaps that is why there is no clinical reason that has been found. I know a couple of people who are onsite here, who may be able to direct you to a practitioner..if you choose to consider this. More hugs.. |

If you don't mind my asking, what type of pain are you having?
it's on my lower right side of my pelvic...it gets so bad that it shoots down my leg....my dr. told me next step is a neurologist to see if it's my nerves in that area
Have you already had a pelvic sonogram done to rule out any abnormalities? Also, you should keep track of when it occurs most often to try to identify triggers.
yep, had that plus a cat scan

I had a similar situation, had pelvic sono, CT and biopsy done. I would get severe pain, my stomach would swell (I sometimes looked 3/4 mo. pregnant) and I would have abnormal amounts of bleeding between periods. They kept telling me that they could not find anything wrong and it just might be my age and change in cycle. This was not acceptable for me and after a lot of insistence on my behalf, A large cyst was found that would make itself visible during certain times in my cycle (it was not large enough nor was it malignant to be removed) so it is monitored to ensure it does not grow. Fortunately, it has ceased on its own after several months of torture.
Hang in there and continue to insist that your doctors look into every possible motive. Do not accept a half-ass diagnosis because ultimately no one is most responsible for your health and well being than yourself. Good luck!! |

Sorry to hear that Lil' Sis. But don't you dare give up. Something has to be causing you that pain and someone should find out what it is. It could very well be the nerves, sounds as if you got everything else tested. Hang in there

looks like you got the botox too
i'm hanging in..i can't do anything else..i'm already in debt with medical bills |
