Is the heart really so fragile?
That one blow, and it's broken into pieces... Are our minds really so prejudiced? That a single person can force us to change our views about everyone else... Should we really stand back and shed soundless tears? Or swallow our pride and give life another turn... Is it that hard to pick up the pieces? Or are we just scared of getting hurt in vain? Are our souls really that empty? That we'd never love again? |

I think it's our choice. What to think? How to feel - well maybe not at first? But as time goes on. How does one make the best of it? Learn some lessons along the way and hope for something better.
Yes, maybe I'll be rejected again or maybe not even find anyone at all? Is my hope in vain? Only time will tell. But I want to choose to love and forgive! Being depressed n angry is the wrong road. It just leads to more emptyness, lonelyness n despair. I don't want that! Do you? |

You drown before you emerge...you find yourself feeling distraught, angry, helpless and hopeless!
You wish you'd never met that person. You wish you hated them for what they are instead of loving them for something they're not..it's a choice after all.. But you do find that time is your bestest buddy! Time heals amd soothes you. You realise that there are souls around who love you and guide you. So you take the heartbreak and turn it into what it really ought to be- A lesson:-) |
