I have been looking at some houses for a while now and notice how crazy it is about getting the bang for your buck... I noticed that here in central florida houses are outrageous. for instance lets say a $180,000 house here will be around 1500 sq feet and will be ok looking now in V.A I see houses for the same price, with acres that are over 3000 sq foot and ten times nicer... and Florida is suppose to be the cheapest state.... well what happened. We make less and have to spend more on houses. It is fustrating... How is the housing market in your community?

housing market is dead in michigan but if you're buying it's just right. some have been up for sale for so long that people are willing to take a hit just to get rid of them.

housing market is booming here. Houses of 1500 sq feet on a two acre lot are around 350 - 375, 000 dols. Most prices around here like Jackson Hole and Aspen and Sun Valley

Show ME a house in VA for that price with 3,000 sq feet!!! I've NEVER seen one unless it's out in the boonies!!!

Maronda homes seem to be the best homes for the money... They are as low as 120,000 and are nice, I just seen the houses for 200,000 that are so little.. I need the best bang for my buck...

Washington is high, at least here in Port Townsend. Average house is selling for $250,000 and up, in town anyways. They just converted some low income apartments into condos, unbelievable, 500 to 700 ft., not even a view, selling for $160,000, just ridiculous.

Average price of a 3 bdrm house here...between $400 000 and a million...and no am not exaggerating...there are some around the 3 and 4 mill, and are shacks, with great veiws.

Average wage for Australia...(across the board, and most dont earn it)..$75 000 per annum.
