Craft, crochet, sewing, recycling, spending time in nature enjoying the scenery while reading a book or working on my crochet project. I love to travel too, by train or ship. Been planning to travel to Lombok island by the sea but have to cancel it due to corona pandemic.

Since the quarantine started, I’ve been looking for crafts to do. I started some woodwork, a board of hooks to hang al my stuff on (keys, necklaces, etc) on and I have metallic thread connecting the points, trying to make it look like a spiders’ web. We’ll see.
But recently Pinterest (damn you) got me interested in dioramas and witch bottles. Waiting on some supplies from Wish to get started. Spell bottle example: https://pin.it/5az9kln Diorama example: https://pin.it/6wWcUSx |

Spiritual garden? Care to share what's spiritual gardening?. I've never heard of it before The poster might not respond, Ben. She started this thread back in 2013, and hasn't been on recently. Plus she was posting a question to the poster above her, Crystal, asking her what a spiritual garden is. And if you read down a few posts, she gave a response. It's different for each person, according to their spiritual beliefs and practices. But if you know what a zen garden is, it's something like that. Though some people put crystals, or other things like fairies and gnomes in it. Basically a place to go to quiet your mind, meditate, and/or practice your spiritual rituals. |

Spiritual garden? Care to share what's spiritual gardening?. I've never heard of it before Indeed something as River said. I have a Spiral of Archimede, geometrically correct, of some 3,5 meters diameter so you can walk it. If you walk it you feel energies, and as you walk you turn inward more and more. When you stand in the exact middle of that spiral you are a perfect conduit between the Cosmic and Earth energies which feel absolutely wonderful!! I also have a large Yin & Yang symbol, approx 2 meters diameter, with a Quan Yin statue near by (female Buddha, Goddess of mercy & love). A Fairy & gnome garden, and a Buddha section where I like to sit whenever I light the fire pit. The wall behind Buddha is partially silver, deliberately done as it reflects the orange of the fire in the pit. And so on. So it's a garden with sections of different energies and meanings. The plants in each sections are chosen for the energies, like bamboo in the Quan Yin area and nice colourful flowers in the Faery garden. |

There's not a lot that I do now (certain things in the way) but things I will pick up or continue when I can include working towards a private pilots license, learning to play the piano, and taking a dance class of some form.
