I see this written all d time in taglines of profiles.... Well this word exists actually jst in d dictionary... Perfection has no existence in real world... So if u r lookin fr it... Basically its a blunder ... N wastin a hell lot of time while u r at it.....

Seriously what is perfect to one may not be perfect to another.....

We all have different ways in seeing what is perfect for ourselves.... there are those that fit perfect together regardless what another may think.....

I hope I am not looking for perfect because living with perfect would be kind of a grind to keep up with. I would be really happy to find a mere mortal that for the long run is a good person and tries to be good friend, lover, mate to me as I would them. I am shooting for a comfortable match not so much a perfect match.

This is almost exactly what I was going to say. Just a matter of perspective, to each their own, because I see perfection almost everywhere I look.

My brain wrestles with the concept of 'perfectly imperfect' but that's about the best way I know how to describe it. Makes no sense but somehow it makes all the sense in the world to me. I dunno...hard to explain what I mean.

Yes, I feel the same as you and Fear except I don't analyze it anymore and rarely question perfection when it visits...It never stays long, but it always brightens my day...Sometimes it comes in the morning disguised as that first "perfect" cup of coffee, other times it comes dressed in a song or a poem or a movie....Sometimes perfect sleeps in my hair and lets me enjoy a "perfect hair day"....I've discovered perfect hidden in a kiss, a friends smile, a babies skin, nature, my mother's eyes....When perfect hangs out with me, everything "is" perfect!...

To be honest I hope I never find perfect because that means I will have to be perfect to keep her and I'm far from that.

I agree that perfection doesn't exist, especially since most people, myself included, are seriously flawed. I'm not naive to look for perfection, I'd be content to find someone who just isn't so ****ed up there is no chance for anything good...or at least semi-permanent....

Hit the nail right on the head JackTrades! There is no really perfect man or woman, just as close as each individual considers perfection to be for themselves and that could be someone with imperfections who can handle your imperfections.
