ok....bear me out then iggy this topic......I msg'd and im'd with a lady here for a a couple weeks. I got to dread signing on because she would immediately im me and I did not want to talk with her non-stop for 4 hours. She got really pissy because I did not answer every single email she sent me. I could see that the relationship would not ever work in the long term, and so I emailed her and explained that to her nicely, that I could see we might be friends but that I could see it going nowhere because I had no feelings one way or the other for her. I got an email back from her that called me every low name in the book and a few that were not there.
I see that the ladies all want honesty and to be told up front if it is not going to work. WTF? Is it just that they want to know the good stuff upfront and any not so good a stuff they want us to fib about and lead them on, or just suddenly ignore them? thoughts on this?

I personally would rather be told upfront. No point in trying to pursue someone who has different feelings. Don't worry, not all women are the same!

Like the other two have said. I also would rather be told up front instead of being lead on etc etc.

that is so rude to think that it's ok! to IM somebody with out sending a note in the first place & you play in the forums on here too its not like she should be your main focus point.

I feel for you Willy I think you did the right thing letting her know that you were not interested in her that way. Unfornately for her she may have screwed up a good friendship.
I would prefer that if a man who talks with me is not interested in me that way they tell me as soon as he knows, I in turn will do that also, no sense prolonging the "dread" but If I can keep them as a friend it nice

I would rather have the truth be known up front...why carry out and drag something on if there's nothing there. At best you can be friends. Sorry you had to go through that
