in my college days I wore a string bikini top to go body surfing at the beach in NJ....I stood up after a particularly rough ride and my top was completely backwards....I dove down under pretty quick...lol

Talking about going topless. I was with my sis and a girl who is no longer her friend. They decided to skinny dip. I don't swim and doing that with my sis didn't seem right anyway. But her friend, probably trying to get attention, kept leaping out of the river exposing herself. sometimes she tried to cover herself. But there really wasn't that much to cover. I don't recall how old she was. I know it seemed pretty stupid though. She should have been embarrassed at acting so stupidly. Not because she was flat as a board. But constantly jumping out of the water and acting innocent about it. hahaha

yes kinda silly, but I see that you hung around to observe..lol

When a few years ago I looked in the mirror and saw how I was living and how I was acting, it was a fools paradise and I was embarrassed by who was staring back me in the mirror, so I changed my life and now can accept who I really am.

It wasn't 'cause I liked what I saw. Not sure why I stuck around.

On one of my birthdays my friends tickled attacked me because they know I am super ticklish. I asked them to stop or I'd explode... they didn't listen and I tinkled on myself -- ironically I packed a pair of extra jeans just in case they tried this. embarrassing but gave everyone including myself a side splitting laugh.

I am ticklish as well. But I hate being tickled. This is mostly because when I was younger my friends dad would tickle us and when he did it, it hurt. He would dig his finger into your side because he thought it made you tough. All it made me do though was to hate being tickled. I much more likely to deck someone for trying then to laugh. hahaha

Wee hours of the morning, hot summer night, remote location on the lake, skinny dipping with my boyfriend. Yup, all of the sudden headlights. He runs out to get dressed. I, on the other hand, had a cast on my leg and couldn't move quickly enough, so I try to get deep enough into the weeds to hide instead.

It's the cops of course. And that's worst case scenario, 'cause at the time I was a police dispatcher. Questioning starts. Boyfriend tells him why we're there (girlfriend, cast, hot night, itchy, etc). Cop asks me to come out of the water. I was horrified! I'm like "Uh, I can't." So he questions me about who I am, whether I'm there of my own free will, yada, yada, yada, while I'm hunched naked in the weeds. My boyfriend's laughing the whole time. The cops were too by the time they left. I wasn't all that amused.

I was even more mortified when the boys all thought it would be funny to stop by dispatch the whole next week or so. "Brought ya a glass of ice chips to cool down. Must be hot with that cast!".

Real friggen funny pal! Word travels quick on them radios I tell ya!

I have no sense of shame, so I can't think of anything that I really should be embarrassed for that embarrassed me at the time; but after reading some of the string bikini posts on here, I can't help but curse at my misfortune for never being at the right place at the right time to see someone else's embarrassment.

That was then this is now, now I blame anything that can be construed as embarassing on dementia. I coasted along all these years as a 'dumb blonde" but using the old dementia card works even better.

And I doubt those ranks are ever empty!?
