Topic: The topic: MONDAY | |

What does Monday mean to you? To me, it means I can conduct business after a weekend of everyone telling me they are closed on Sunday. |

Monday means that I have to set the alarm on my clock.

A day off!

|
|
yep, Monday means start of the work week!

Well let me think this through really good. Since I am retired, I don't have to work any day of the week if I choose not to, so therefore, Monday would be just another day of doing nothing. Since, however, I like to keep busy and usually find something to do that most people would consider work, then, I work 7 days a week, therefore, Monday would be the next work day after Sunday. There that should be perfectly clear and messed up!

Mondays are ok? It's boring middle of the week Wednesdays, that annoy me more.

Monday means I have been blessed enough to make it through another Sunday. And that I have another day to try to find my way in this world. I will make the most of it because each and every day is a gift that I have been given. It would be a shame to waste it.

I'm not working at the moment, but in spite of that I still get this feeling on Mondays "I got to do something useful today". Stupid societal brainwashing is difficult to let go off.

That is funny as like you I am not working and I too feel the need to do something useful on Monday. I figure it's just habit. |

In a way almost like guilt for not having to work while others do |
