These days,modes of worship have metamorphosed from the conventional phisical gathering in church or worship centres to 'online worship' via the skype,youtoube,webcam and purely through the live web page streams.Could this be forsaking the assembling of ourselves together? the devil's alternative.Meaning,just sit down in your house on sunday,spare your tithe and offering and log on to any site of your choice and "worship" Just asking!

Sometimes Christians can be very stand-offish...not good!

We are to forsake not the assembling of ourselves.


Heb 10:25, "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,

as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another:

and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

In these last day and times, we should focus on encouraging one another by the Word of God

Restoring one another's hope in the salvation Christ.

Many christians "worship" online these days here in Nigeria because according to them,the service is live.They refused to go to the local church.I see it as the devil's deception

I think it can be a good thing for those people who are disabled and can't get out anymore. Nothing compares to being in the house of God though, but if you are disabled then this would be a good thing. :)

An online church service can reach people who don't have the means to go to a church campus. An online church service spreads the Gospel, which is something that Satan wouldn't want to happen.

Uche9aa, I think I understand the purpose of your post. But online worship is a blessing.

I don't see it as forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.
As for tithes and offerings. many Christians give tithes and offerings
to the ministry they have prayerfully committed to. Whether online or in person.

Some ministries are legit and some are not. Some are faithful and some aren't.
Same as Churches with brick and mortar. Or Church people who assemble locally.

They rise up and they fall. They come together and some disband or disfellowship. God only knows which will stand the test of time.

The Spiritual condition of the Seven Churches of Revelation were for our example and for our learning.

We should strengthen every fellowship. Bless every door that is open in His Name. Online or otherwise.

Let's not condemn what the Lord may have blessed.
