Can't give you the female perspective, but just the technical, here. Take it or leave it:

It's a good start but your text says very little about yourself. You've got some nice photos, but you don't smile for any of them. Also, the pics with the beard give away that your pics in uniform are old. A couple of the pics are duplicates, too. Maybe you could lose some of the old photos and post some new pics of you getting out and having fun. The hockey team looks fun.

The "blurb" section could use some more information about what kind of guy you are and what kind of woman you seek. Saying you're newly single seems trite. Nobody expects you to be great at being single. Use that space to tell the ladies what they can expect from you. Maybe boast about yourself, seem successful, or fun, or interesting in some way. You can pretty much type as much or as little as you like, but for best results, make it fun to read.

The big, strong ex-cop angle should work for you. Many ladies will dig it, so you should be fine, but explain yourself better and maybe update the photos with something more fun (smile). Subtracting for the minimal text and unhappy pics, I rate it 7/10.
