Since I am on Weight Watchers it was kind of boring tonight, I had spicy
grilled chicken, plain rice and lots of veggies, What I really wanted was a slab of ribs and a baked potato. :O( But it is worth it to me right now to go without |

Well I don't know how this will fit into a dieters plan but I'm sure you
can sub low fat margarine to cut the calories and it shouldn't be too bad. I just came up with this last week............ You know those "imitation crab meat sticks" (I think they're really whitefish but they're red down the side to look like the meat from a big crab leg? Cut a package of them up into cubes and set aside. Prepare 2 lbs of reg spaghetti noodles to preffered doneness and set aside in a large skillet melt a couple of tablespoons of butter(or marg) and does to taste with garlic powder and lemon pepper dump in the "crab meat" cubes and stir to coat well with the butter. Pour over and stir into the spaghetti and VIOLA !! You have a garlic lemmon pepper crab pasta in all of about 12 minutes! That's what's for dinner at my house tonight (well half that anyway, I figure on the whole pound of crab and 2 lbs of noodles for 2 people) |

Sounds yummy, But I dont eat paste as it is to many cals for me. I am
very strict on my diet, I have lost 62 pounds in 6 months, BUt I did just have a bite of my daughters pizza!! |

Well I don't know how much you're wanting to lose Hon but I CAN tell you
how I lost my weight. The pic I have posted here is not too old and I go about 210. 5 years ago I weighed 308 lbs! I made 3 rules that I live by because at that time I was averaging 10-12 thousand calories a day (according to my Dr) Rule#1 I don't eat unless I'm hungry.... if I've been ill with no appetite I make sure I take in enough to not get sicker but after a couple of years on these rules I can control myself pretty well. Rule#2 Stop eating when I'm no longer hungry. This was a tough one as the oldest of 5 kids who was raised to clean his plate. Also I had to learn to eat a little slower (being 1 of 5 you condition to eat FAST or you might not get enough! LOL) Rule#3 is the easiest..... I don't let myself get too hungry so I don't BINGE Some days I may eat 2 or 3 small meals, some days only 1 but I pretty much eat anything I want and can splurge on a big meal sometimes without guilt. I have a couple of pics of me at 308 I could post, I wasn't "FAT" but people told me I was "FLUFFY" because I carried the extra all over including my face. |

Ontario, your just mean... In & Out is the ONLY thing I miss about California. OMG, send me the bag so I can just smell it, please. A few years a go my couzin flew here from there and brought for her brother a burger and fries, but... she ate it on the plane and all he got was the bag and some messy napkins. It was a very tense weekend visit for her. Shagna, congrats... I admire your disipline. |

i like sonic but there isn't any in michigan but yet i keep seeing
commercials for them on detroit t.v. stations. it's drivin me crazy. i think i need a friend down south so they can mail me some sonic in a termo box so it stays warm.lol |

millsdd has the right idea. there are a ton of things that you can make
quickly that aren't bad for you. they even make special patas now that are whole grain and low fat. the carbs aren't too bad for you if you exercise and don't allow your body to store them. |
