average is going to combine the most expensive of plans (which can get very expensive) and the least expensive
comparably,, the 'average' amongst insured in 2007 was 373.25 (4479/12) This year's survey found that the average family policy cost $12,106, a 78 percent increase since 2001. (The typical single policy cost $4,479 in 2007. http://health.usnews.com/health-news/articles/2007/09/14/health-insurance-costs-rise-again ..and costs have been rising,, as an AVERAGE,, not very remarkable at all,, |

The average in WI is higher than the national average.
If it's a federal run program why are the prices different in every state. I shouldn't have to pay more for the same insurance as someone in a different state. It will be interesting to see how screwed up things will get OCT 1st. |

I am currently paying out of pocket $707 per month for single coverage in Arizona for a Blue Cross plan.....That's almost $8,500 per year.
It's going to be interesting to see what I can buy a plan for on October 1st. I am thinking I am going to be saving some $$$ |

What is missing from the debate is what a racket healthcare has become.
Our for profit healthcare system is a scam and those who have created this disaster are stuffing their obscene pockets with cash. Lets face it if health care was affordable as it was for my parents generation we would not even be discussing this. I have a Cadillac plan myself so I have no horse in the race except for the type of future I leave for my kids or future grand kids. The future looks grim for all and SOMETHING needs to be done! |

Hell, one of Obama's top allies and one of his 'yes MEN' called Obamacare a train wreck. All of the unions are against it and businesses are closing down and cutting employee's hours back. What does Mr. God Complex Obama do about it? Nothing, he is to stupid to realize that it is tanking our economy and part of the reason Obama's numbers and Presidency is sinking faster in the titanic. Then you add his cowardness, false red line and compulsive lying.

Obamacare is such a great idea that the government voted themselves amnesty from it. Were being screwed. We need a real lead. This guy is unfit to lead.

Plug ur figures in here
http://www.npr.org/blogs/health/2013/09/26/226456791/how-much-will-obamacare-cost-me-try-our-calculator My Obamacare premium will be $6599. My current BlueCross BlueShield of NC is $4800. Difference of $1800 dollars. With my subsidy my premium drops $1000 a year to $3800.00. Good 4 me BUT the question is who the hell negotiated this deal so that the insurance companies were able to raise rates getting well over half of the government subsidy...in other words to save me $1000 dollars a year my government had to pad the pockets of the insurers with taxpayer's money to the tune of $1800 dollars... |

It would have been one price had it been a single payer but alas that couldn't get through congress. That is what the president wanted. |
