Topic: So what if she's hot? | |

Now do you understand why women get so confused by men??? Don't blame us for being so confused. I mean....God told Eve NOT to eat the forbidden fruit and yet she didn't listen. She bites that fruit and then all of a sudden has issues with Adam's nakedness? Yeah right. We all know the truth. He didn't have "adequate equipment" and she pointed at it and scoffed. Talk about mixed signals. One minute she wants him, then the next she eats some fruit and laughs at his pee pee. See how confusing women are. |

I love it when people start threads asking for advice, then when they get answers they don't agree with they get pissy. Yeah, so do I. It's fun, isn't it? that's kind of annoying Good one. Now let's wait for a bunch of people to spam my thread by replying to that with mocking smileies. Anyone else find it annoying when they do that? The forums are a great way to really see ones true colors |

Maybe if people had actually responded to the question that I asked they wouldn't have got "pissy" replies from me.
I keep telling you that it's not about her being a bit annoying. I asked if I should look for somebody that I have more in common with, given that that's never gone that well in the past. |

This post seems a bit contradictory to me. On the one hand you are saying that it's me that's the problem and that I need to change but on the other you are saying that it isn't and that I shouldn't put up with it. Why is it fine for you to tell me to change when you are just some dude on the internet that doesn't even know me but it's wrong for me to say that to somebody that I have a close relationship with? I'm not telling you to change, i'm saying the only person someone can change is themselves, you can't change another person no matter how hard you try, and yes you shouldn't put up with crap from someone(you can always walk away), Think of it this way, You're in a one man box, all that is in there is you, instead of trying to force people into your box, it is easier to get out of your box and join them, if that is what you want to do. However, in my personal opinion if she is annoying i don't have time, someone else will like her just the way she is, so why should I bother trying to change her to something I like? Isn't it better for me to just go and try to find someone else who I don't find annoying? Wow, you seem like a really intolerant person to say something like that. You don't have time for people and just walk away from them if you find them a bit annoying instead of trying to sort things out with them, even when they seem to like you? Also, your argument is total garbage. If a woman tells me to leave the toilet seat down is she trying to change me? Not really. I remain the same person and all that she has done is to ask me not to do something that I was doing which annoyed her. Ok, first i'm not an intolerant person, however, neither am i I ignorant. I know I can't change another human, NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY!, in order for someone to change THEY have to do the changing themselves, Second, I don't base my attraction to someone on whether or not they like me, For instance, I have a thing with voices, if someone sounds like Fran Drescher I'm immediately not interested, she may look like Jessica Alba and have a huge crush on me, and I'd probably want to like her, but I would also know I could never appreciate her the same as someone who didn't find her voice annoying, so I'd move on. As far as my argument being garbage and the toilet seat analogy, let me put it this way, if she asks you to put it down, and YOU DO, who made that happen? was it because YOU were willing to CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOR? or was it because SHE CHANGED YOU?, you can ask someone to do something until you're blue in the face, fact is if they don't want to change whatever it is you asked of them, you can't do a damn thing about it. Lastly, most relationships start off with a feeling of "love" you've no doubt heard the saying "love is blind" that is normally because someone is attracted to someone enough to look past(or not even notice their faults) The fact that you are seeing these 'faults' before a relationship says one of two things, either 1 you're really not that into her, or 2 you think she is out of your league so your manufacturing faults to see her as a more 'matched' companion. Watch seinfield George has issues with finding fault with every woman he tries to date, it doesn't always work out so well... |

Even if I grant all of your propositions mate, the argument is still garbage because I said that if she was my girlfriend I would tell her how she was being annoying and hopefully she would stop doing it. Then I was given this BS about how I can't do that.
What you say about me maybe thinking that she's out of my league is relevant and not off topic though. That's what I asked. I doubt that I've got much in common with her. It's not that I think that she's too good looking for me but obviously a very attractive woman can take her pick of the men. Actually, although I don't personally know her all that well, it seems like she's one of those women that is very flirty but is reluctant to go further than that. In a word, a tease. I think that the sexual chemistry is there and even the potential for a friendship but I would need another opportunity to chat her up and I have no idea when I'll meet her again. There's nothing so annoying about her that would put me off like you picky lot are talking about though. On the contrary, I think that she may think that a guy like me isn't good enough for her, or that I'm her type. I think that she fancies me but I think that we may be too different and it's almost like a class thing. I must seem like a freak to her and although that may be why she took an interest in me and although it may be a case of opposites attracting, she's only seen me in social situations when I've been on my best behaviour. |
