Besides I wasn't suggesting that the 'one man' was necessarily part of a government elected through due process, just that if those who are elected f*** up bad enough they opened the door enough for a dictator to sneak through.

each has their own strengths and their own weaknesses,, but with potus being one out of the hundreds in government, with the white house being one of three branches, with the veto process, with the checks and balances,, I don't see a DICTATOR anytime soon

Our country is not a democracy, subject to the will of the majority, it is a REPUBLIC offering and founded on individual rights.
