I thought cougars preferred young guys and MILFs were just hot moms?? we used to use the term Cougar as far back as 95 back on Vancouver island years before I ever herd MILF so young males that were drinking age 19/20 would refer to even the waitresses or bartender as Cougars if they were older and sexy mainly woman around 27 -32 regardless of there sexual preferance they were stereotyped as cougars based on just been older n hot.. good information. did not know it went that far back. I know cougar isn't the best term, but it is understood. |

I know cougar isn't the best term, but it is understood. am sure it come right out of that area British Columbia Lower mainland the Island, I'm sure in that year 95' I knew guys that came from eastern Canada & they wernt saying it. I spent lots of time in Alaska and all the expressions are herd as every one from different states and last I was there was summer or 2005 & that was the first time I had herd milf but I never once herd someone say Cougar then, state side. (likely logger talk) I guess there's the Cougars that look the part then Cougars that will rip a young guy apart none off which walk on four legs as there's guys that wear cowboy attire then there's Cowboys as there's woman that will perform fillatio then there's the one that say I love to perform fillatio...I big difference

Of course they want someone more serious, they've already wasted a good lot of their time on worthless prospects. Well said. I have too much self respect for myself to be a cougar.

If you like older women...just go for it!!! But do NOT call them MILFS or COUGARS..I hated when my son actually told his friend to leave the house before he killed him because he called me a MILF. Sorry but that is so disrespectful!!! |

I really enjoy the mature nature of them. Just wish I didn't get thrown into the category of inexperienced. I understand, it is just unfortunate. If you want an older woman, you're gonna need to look like you can handle one. And fitted hoodies and converses don't say that. Lol Agreed. I dated "cougars" when the term referred only to a large feline living in forests and deserts. Coat and tie back then at a singles' group function. Had a very fulfilling relationship. When it ended, it was right for both of us. |

Most older women are going to be at a different stage in life, but women in general usually are looking for a relationship and not so much casual encounters. I don;t see that as age related. We (older ladies) are also not looking to support a man financially either. So if you can pull your weight financially and are sincere about wanting a relationship rather than a "fling" you stand a better chance in my opinion |
