People please be aware that there are fake profiles from fraudsters. I got an email from a nigerian posing as a white woman 29 from Mexico on this site.. The first thing they ask for is your email address.

OP, your block & delete button exists for a reason. I delete most of my inbox everyday. block anyone who offers a phone or email in the first message & delete it.

If this site doesn't post scam warnings when u sign up, they should. Other sites do and it's good information.

Be suspicious of people that message you and want to talk to you offsite via phone, email or IM in their first contact with you. These people are somtimes scammers who try to convince you to give them money. As a rule, NEVER give anyone you meet on the site money.

That is nothing new. I get scammers on here all the time. I block them and report them. They truly are stupid as all you have to do is read their email to know they are a scammer.

Well god damn it. How come I can't get any scammers on here. That was part of the reason I joined was to play with some scammers.

One of the last scammers I talked to was kind of funny. They kept trying to get me to give them my credit card number or bank account number. I think they said they were going to buy some stuff from me. Finally they were going to send me a check or a money order and I think they were insisting on my street address. No one uses a street address here. It's to small a town. We all get our mail at the post office. What was funny was what I said to end the conversation with this idiot. I asked them to just send me some cash. They were like "Why would I do that?" I said "Well you can send me fake money just as easy as you could a fake check. So just send me some fake cash." As I recall they didn't think it was as funny as I did. I still have to laugh when I think of that one.

The problem for me though is that while I love pissing off scammers. I also hate talking to them because they're so damn stupid. It hurts my head to try to understand what they're saying with they're broken English or crappy translator programs. So I want to be entertained by a retarded scammer. But it tortures me at the same time. hahaha

So strange even scammers don't try anything with you.

I am very new to the site and everyone that emails me wants to use yahoo instead. What can they find out by doing that? I can't believe that everyone is a scammer but then again I'm a little nieve (sorry don't know how to spell it)After reading this I'm worried...

another good reason to not g off site is, it's out of our jurisdiction. If someone tries to scam you off site, we can't review it to make sure. It is simply a he said/she said at that point. Some people have a bad break up with someone and will say all kinds of things about the other person. This is why the site needs to verify these things. That way someone isn't falsely persecuted

Just play it safe. The good ones will understand not wanting to go off site.
