Well the 4th is upon us....it means different things to many of us. For some it means a long extended weekend with a reason to party with family and friends. But what we must remember is why this day was declared a Holiday. ............ AMERICA - 4th of July What does the Fourth of July mean to you? Parades? Fireworks? A day off from School or Work? Unfortunately, many don't know about the true meaning of the birthday of our country. On July 4th, 1776, John Hancock, who was president of the Continental Congress,and Charles Thomson,who was the Secretary, signed the Declaration of Independence, a document that stated we were no longer willing to be ruled by the British. So while your celebrating the 4th take a moment to reflect what it is all about..Have a awesome time at your BBQ,s with friends and family.... Don't drive drunk.....call a cab or crash at a friends place...

Independence day? Well, I thought it was about the fact that a century or so ago a bunch of slave-owning aristocratic white males didn't want to pay their taxes....but then I found out what it really was all about: That we shouldn't make plans for august cuz the aliens are gonna invade and only Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum can save us. Oh, Bill Pullman too! HAPPY 4th!!!!
