whatever its over IF Zimmerman weren't a liar on the line for his freedom and familiar with criminal law,, some of what he 'claimed' may actually be credible i understand you relate to martin on a level that i don't. i have been followed, but i have always been able to talk to the concerned person on a non violent level. i understand that a long haired, long mustsached, hispanic draws the wrong kind of attention, but i deal with it because i choose to look this way. what i don't understand is how you can claim to be well educated, with good reading comprehension, with a christian background, and call zimmerman a liar. i only have secondhand (at best) information of zimmerman's personality and can not make such a judgement the 'girlfriend' was more believable than the stalker, because of the fact she didn't sugarcoat anything,, she included the racial slurs,, why would she leave out the mfs? the girlfriend wasn't more believable. i know you want to believe certain things, but if you research a little bit (i know you know how to research) you can easily find fault with some of your statements why would the neighborhood watch need to continue after this person after his guidelines say he isnt to and the POLICE say he isn't to? he needs to get an address closer to where he 'lost' the person because the address near where his CAR was parked, and where he would be wouldn't be good enough right? zimmerman's story is that he originally was eager to keep martin in sight, but when he lost sight, he gave up looking and was headed back to his vehicle. this is believable because zimmerman had stated that he was tired of the azzhole punks that kept getting away. with that attitude it would be expected for zimmerman to follow after being advised not to. in his excitement, if he couldn't remember a street name, whatever. maybe an excuse to justify his action of following, maybe he had a brain fart because he was over eager in keeping martin in sight. hard to say either way, but if most of his other statements line up, innocent until proven guilty would fault in his favor no one heard t say what Z Claims,,,not even the person on the phone with him,, and his story reeks of bs in my opinion did martin's girlfriend stay on the phone after the fight started? was the line open when the confrontation started? i would be more sceptical of zimmerman's story if more of it didn't add up. i understand you and i are viewing his story differently, but the story isn't different. it is very difficult to enter this (or any story) totally blank and let each detail speak for itself but its over,, and in the hands of karma we all reap what we sow. if in your heart you are eager for "justice" than justice will be eager for you. personally i look for mercy for both martin and zimmerman (mostly for martin because he no longer has a chance to atone, zimmerman has that opportunity) because i can use all the mercy (and then some) that i can get

He did call the Police. It is only your imagination that he was following someone.

A white male teenager posted this on my kid's FB this evening: I can't believe Zimmerman was found innocent; how, he is a murderer. Sorry Travon I guess this means that this country stills believes that if a white man shoots a black man it must be self defense. May God rest your soul and I hope I get the honor of meeting u in heaven. no many just believe that if you are poor and urban, you are most likely amoral trash who poses a threat to them,,,,the more of you dead the better,,, unfortunate but true When you are a punk who is high on drugs out at night probably past curfew going in peoples yards wearing something hiding your identity who has been kicked out of school for violence and drugs, who's own mother couldn't control him, who picked a fight trying to act tough for his girlfriend, who picked a fight with the wrong man. He got what he deserved. Zimmerman should be given a medal.

If Zimmerman wasn't carrying a gun Martin would have been on trial for murder and convicted and sentenced to 25 to life for the murder and the media would have ignored it. Go figure.

I feel for Trayvon's parents, but it has come to light that they let him run around like an animal and this is the outcome of it. Tonight, Obama weeps. haaa,, and what did zimmermans parents 'let' him do? molest a relative, assault a cop, assault a girlfriend, assault a store patron,,,lol and what were ts parents 'letting' him do the night he got killed, go buy skittles and spend time with his little brother yeah, so right, this was the outcome of the parents negligence in raising this boy,,,, ,,,,give me a break,,, I doubt they were telling him to go out and get high on drugs.

He should never been tried in the first place. an unarmed child was stalked and killed,, absence of a trial would be miscarriage of justice,,,, No. A miscarriage of justice is to take a man to trial for murder without the proof to sell it to a jury. This is the truth of what happened. What's really bad is the head attorney from that office pursued the charges for political reasons but didn't have the guts to handle the trial herself because she knows it was a losing battle and pushed it off to two lesser attorneys.

1. The attorney comparing this to Medgar Evers and Emmet Till. Shame on you. Why is it only people who are mad at the verdict say Travon was an innocent child or innocent kid? Children do not have the capacity to beat the living crap out of an adult. Children do not get tattoos. Children do not use screwdrivers to steal jewelry. Children do not write graffiti on school property. Children do not smoke weed.

I'm still in shock over the verdict. I think he was guilty because: He disobeyed civil authorities who told him to stay in his car twice, and to not follow the suspect. If he would have obeyed, things would be different. So he caused it to me. Besides, I said so! They advised him. If you followed the trial, dispatchers are not allowed to tell people what to do but they can suggest or advise but not listening to them is not a crime.

Besides, I said so! lol yeah, but what we say don't matter if we aren't the jurors but, there is still a civil case to be filed, ,, karma works things out,,,,one way or another, he isn't going to escape accountability for that boys death the black panthers or someone will get him within a year or so... thats my guess That's just as bad. Not in Obama's eyes, he will just pardon them.

Neighborhood watches, follow, film, interview and report....That's what they do!. They are the eyes and ears of the police who can not constantly patrol the many neighborhoods of their territory, and their documentation has led to the conviction and apprehension of many guilty parties. The police investigate crime, neighborhood watches help prevent it! Z was attacked, his actions were self defense, nothing more! In my former business career I was on, and implemented, several. I was responsible at one time for 18 communities, meeting crime prep guidelines for insurance and neighborhood watch sponsorship. Liberals seem to think they know better if something doesn't fit their definition, and whether their opinion is fact or not, swear it is. It was THAT fact that kept police from arresting Z in the 1st place. Such watches are only sanctioned if there are constant meetings, training and adherence to law, and in most cases the classes are led/taught by police personnel.

That is exactly right. If Martin would have called 911 they could have told him that the man following him was a neighborhood watch person and that they were in route. Martin was up to something. Was he a child? I hardly think so. He was 17, and that is almost of legal age. He was 5" 11" tall, and that is almost 6 feet. He was taller than Zimmerman. A child? I hardly think so. Zimmerman had a reason to be there. Martin did not. He was loitering. He was not simply in route to someplace. He was not an innocent child. He was tall, and he attacked Zimmerman. He looked out of place, he was acting suspicious.
